Those who aren’t – you are looking at a classic piece of industrial design. Simple, robust and supremely tactile, the Competition Pro was absolutely the precision weapon of choice for any serious gamer of the period.
I love its stark, purposeful looks, and can attest to the fact that it can take some quite unbelievable punishment. Yet it’s so well designed, you can strip it down and reassemble it with ease if something goes wrong.
We’ve seen some great games controllers over the years, but I think the Competition Pro stands tall as one of the greatest ever.
