Back in the day, Ultimate Play the Game set the ZX Spectrum graphical standard with  memorable loading screens for games such as Knight Lore and Underwurlde. I was reminded of those when I recently saw the highly creative pictures on this web site, where modern Russian “graphicians” continue the ZX Spectrum tradition of 16-color, 265 x 192 resolution art created with the attribute rule in full effect.
